| We were honored to host Wood-Ridge native and Stanley Cup Champion Bill Burniston at the firehouse today. Bill serves as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Burniston family has a long history of service to the department. Bill’s brother Tom is an Ex-Chief and current Captain, his nephew Tommy is a firefighter, and his mother Christina was a long serving member of our Ladies Auxiliary.
A steady stream of family and friends visited with Bill and The Cup throughout the day.
