| Tuesday, July 23rd was a busy day for the WRFD.
At 14:42 hours, E901 responded to Hackensack Fire Headquarters to cover the empty firehouse as the Hackensack Fire Department fought a three alarm structure fire at 135 Main St. This response marked the first time in at least 42 years the WRFD provided mutual aid to the City of Hackensack.
Then at 16:32 hours, Hasbrouck Heights Fire Command requested a truck and engine to respond to 205 Myers Ave., Has. Hts. for a house fire. Chiefs K. Cribben and Meglio, T904 and E901 (direct from HFD Hdqts.) responded and assisted the HHFD with extinguishing the fire. WR FFs also removed a dog from the residence during the incident.
All WR units were back in service at 18:30 hours. |
