At 20:03 hours, the WRFD was dispatched to the area of Hackensack St. and Innes Rd. for a motor vehicle crash. Chief Meglio arrived and found an SUV had struck a utility pole in front of 304 Hackensack St. Firefighters secured the vehicle and covered the spilled engine fluids with speedy-dri. PSEG was notified for the damaged pole and the vehicle was removed by the duty tow. The driver refused medical treatment. All units were in service at 20:33 hours.
