Firefighter Stephen Sarracino honored by the Wood-Ridge Memorial Foundation

Firefighter Stephen Sarracino was honored by the Wood-Ridge Memorial Foundation at the Fiesta with an Excellence in Education & Community Service Award. Steve has been a member of the WRFD for over fifty years and was active in town with youth sports and Girl Scouts with his four daughters. Steve is also a long time member of the WR Lion's Club and Knights of Columbus and he is active in the Our Lady of Assumption Church.
The Wood-Ridge Memorial Foundation provides scholarships to Wood-Ridge high school seniors to help further their education.
Congratulations to our neighbor Steve. We can't think of anyone more well deserving of this award for his dedication, generosity and selflessness to help others in need. Cheers to you Steve and thank you for your service.
