| At 09:28 hours, the WRFD was dispatched to 20 Fifth St. for a report of a structure fire. Companies arrived to find a fully involved detached garage threatening to extend to the nearby homes. Engine 901 lead off with a 2.5” handline to contain & extinguish the fire in the garage.
Nearby homes suffered heat damage but did not burn and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Prevention Bureau. All units were back in service at 12:00hours.
